SMSMobileAPI connects a real mobile phone to the software stack a business already uses. Once the official mobile application is installed and the phone is linked to an account, communication activity can be controlled and synchronized through a secure dashboard, REST APIs, Webhooks V2 and ready-to-use integrations.
The platform has evolved far beyond a traditional SMS gateway. It provides a common foundation for building workflows around SMS, call activity, WhatsApp, notifications, e-mail, connected devices and automation.

| Capability | What SMSMobileAPI enables |
|---|---|
| SMS sending | Send SMS requests from software, the dashboard, scripts or integrations through a connected mobile phone. |
| Received SMS | Retrieve incoming SMS, centralize conversations and trigger rules, alerts or external workflows. |
| Mobile-sent SMS | Synchronize supported messages sent directly from the connected phone. |
| Call activity | Work with missed, incoming and outgoing call events through the dashboard, APIs and webhooks. |
| Send messages, request secure synchronization of received messages and use retrieved content in connected workflows. | |
| Voice to text | Convert supported WhatsApp voice messages into text for dashboards, APIs and automations. |
| Webhooks V2 | Deliver communication events to your HTTPS endpoints with signatures, delivery logs and retry handling. |
| Multi-device operations | Connect multiple phones to one account and select which device performs each supported action. |
| Business integrations | Connect mobile communication to CRM, e-commerce, ERP, calendar, support and automation workflows. |
| Developer APIs | Build custom applications with focused APIs for SMS, calls, WhatsApp, notifications, e-mail and devices. |
Available capabilities can depend on the mobile operating system, device permissions, selected plan, connected service and regional carrier rules.
- Keep your existing number — communicate through a real SIM card and the mobile number your contacts already recognize.
- Keep communication visible — supported sent and received activity remains connected to the real device instead of being isolated behind a provider-owned virtual number.
- Use your mobile subscription — SMS traffic is handled by the connected phone and remains subject to the operator plan and fair-use conditions.
- Connect existing business tools — add mobile communication to CRM, ERP, e-commerce, calendar, support and automation workflows.
- Start with one phone and scale — centralize multiple connected devices without deploying a traditional physical SMS gateway appliance.
- React in real time — use Webhooks V2 to notify software when supported communication events occur.

Webhooks turn mobile communication activity into events that external software can process. A destination can subscribe to supported event types such as:
sms.api.submitted
sms.sent
sms.failed
sms.received
sms.mobile.sent
call.missed
call.incoming
call.outgoing
whatsapp.submitted
whatsapp.sent
whatsapp.failed
whatsapp.received
whatsapp.voice.transcribed
email.sent
email.received
Webhook destinations are managed from the SMSMobileAPI dashboard. The platform provides payload examples, signing secrets, test events, delivery history, retry handling and destination diagnostics.

Applications built with SMSMobileAPI must respect recipient consent, applicable messaging and privacy laws, carrier rules and the platform terms. Never publish an API key, account credential, webhook secret or customer data in source code or public issues.
For production projects, keep credentials in environment variables or a secret manager, validate webhook signatures, implement idempotency and monitor delivery results.
SMSMobileAPI is building a platform where real mobile phones become secure, programmable communication resources.
The objective is not simply to send an SMS. It is to connect the communication capabilities and events of a real phone to the software, APIs, webhooks, integrations and automations that businesses rely on every day.
The platform is continuously developed around practical business requirements, production reliability and straightforward integration.
