Cryptocurrency Historical Price Data

This repository contains historical price data for Bitcoin and Ethereum from January 2021 to March 2025.

Each file follows the naming pattern: {asset}_{timeframe}_complete.csv

For example:

• bitcoin_1m_complete.csv - Bitcoin 1-minute data
• ethereum_1hour_complete.csv - Ethereum 1-hour data

• 1m (1 minute)
• 5min (5 minutes)
• 15min (15 minutes)
• 30min (30 minutes)
• 1hour (1 hour)
• 4hour (4 hours)
• 1day (1 day)

Each CSV file contains the following columns:

• datetime: Timestamp in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format
• open: Opening price for the period
• high: Highest price during the period
• low: Lowest price during the period
• close: Closing price for the period
• volume: Trading volume

This data was collected from a combination of:

• Binance historical data (2021-2024)
• CryptoCompare API (2025)

This repository uses Git LFS to handle large CSV files. If you want to clone this repository, make sure you have Git LFS installed:

git lfs install

This dataset is intended for backtesting trading strategies and analyzing cryptocurrency price movements.
