A static World of Warcraft 3.3.5 (Wrath of the Lich King) class/spec/best-in-slot guide. Content lives in YAML data files and is compiled to static HTML by Eleventy, then published to GitHub Pages by a GitHub Action. Nothing is editable live.
- Per class: multiple specs/roles.
- Per spec: multiple talent builds (calculator deep-links) and multiple BiS optimization variants.
- Tooltips: powered by an aowow instance you configure in your browser (stored in
localStorage).
This project uses pnpm (see packageManager in package.json).

pnpm run serve # http://localhost:8080First load asks for your aowow tooltip host (e.g. https://aowow.example.com). It's saved locally
and used to resolve every item/spell/talent link and load aowow's tooltip engine. Change it anytime
via ⚙ Settings.

Push to main; the workflow in .github/workflows/deploy.yml builds and deploys to GitHub Pages.
In the repo: Settings → Pages → Source: GitHub Actions (one-time). The site is served under
/<repo-name>/; if you rename the repo or use a custom domain, update pathPrefix in .eleventy.js.
All talent builds and best-in-slot gear lists were sourced from the wowtlk.free.fr guide site — full credit to its author for the original research and theorycrafting. This project only reorganizes that content into a data-driven format.
Item, spell and talent tooltips are rendered by the aowow database engine, served from whichever host the visitor configures.
