I work on the parts most people never open: type inference, query planners, layout engines, firmware. Most of what I build is small, finished and running somewhere.

I would rather fix a bug in the project than work around it — container tooling, SQL parsers, font compilers and NFC firmware carry patches of mine.

Lately: LLM agents that have to earn their keep. Specster turns GitHub issues into specs and reviewed PRs, and measures what every run costs.
