I run production infrastructure for healthcare technology:

  • Cloud & self-hosted: AWS (Lightsail) and a self-managed 3-node Kubernetes (k3s) environment — Traefik, Longhorn, CloudNativePG, SealedSecrets, private registry
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions and self-hosted, GitHub-compatible Gitea Actions (own forge + runners)
  • Systems: production Linux (systemd, Nginx, TLS, firewalling, backup/restore), PostgreSQL & MySQL
  • Automation: Python and shell

Before going hands-on full time I spent 15+ years in healthcare IT — occupational health, anatomic-pathology lab infrastructure (CoPath LIMS), and medical-device connectivity in hospitals — plus twelve years heading the technology function of a 500-client healthcare company.

Currently working through an infrastructure study lab in devops-bootcamp.
