About

Project Aether solves blockchain state bloat via a dual approach: Decoupled Data Availability with Ephemeral Erasure Coding (DDA-EEC) and a theoretical VPS-VOS edge mesh using Holographic state projection and Minkowski-Hilbert spacetime disk mapping for infinite scalability.

Project Aether: Blockchain Storage Architecture 🌐

A dual-architecture approach to solving the "Infinite Volume" paradox (State Bloat) in global blockchain networks.

📋 Overview

This repository contains the research, interactive presentation, and technical documentation for resolving the inherent storage limitations of append-only ledgers.

The project proposes two frameworks:

  1. Practical Evolution: Decoupled Data Availability with Ephemeral Erasure Coding (DDA-EEC).
  2. Hypothetical Ideal (Project Aether): A VPS-VOS edge mesh leveraging the Holographic Principle and Minkowski-Hilbert mapping to eliminate SSD write-amplification.

🗂 Repository Contents

  • index.html: Interactive Neo-Brutalist presentation covering the challenge, impact, and dual-solutions.
  • /docs: Contains the formal Elsevier-style research paper and slide deck.
  • /assets: Contains the declassified-style academic poster and relevant diagrams.

👨‍💻 Author Details

  • Researcher: Adityaraj Gupta
  • Registration Number: 25BCE5585
  • Course: BACSE350 - Blockchain Architecture and Design
  • Faculty: Prof. Saranya M.
  • Institution: Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai
