paket auto-restore
Manage automatic package restore during the build process inside Visual Studio.
|
If you add the --verbose flag Paket will run in verbose mode and show detailed information.
With --log-file [path] you can trace the logged information into a file.
When enabling auto-restore, Paket will
- create a
.paketdirectory in your root directory, - write
paket.targetsinto the.paketdirectory, -
add an
<Import>statement forpaket.targetsto the projects that don't use the .NET SDK.
paket.targets runs paket restore before the build of those projects. It finds
Paket installed with --tool-path in .paket or in the root directory, as a
local tool, or on the PATH like a global tool. The projects that use the .NET
SDK restore through Paket.Restore.targets instead, which
paket install adds to them.
When disabling auto-restore, Paket will
- remove
paket.targetsfrom the.paketdirectory, -
remove the
<Import>statement forpaket.targetsfrom projects that have apaket.referencesfile.
