- (intransitive) to go, to move through space
- Yajki ka itechan pal kita ne imiakwan
- She/he went to his town to see her/his family
- Nemi pal niawi nikpanultia muchi tey ne timunekit pal ne shupan
- I have to go to move everything we will need for the rainy season
- (auxiliary) to be going to (used to indicate the future)
- Ashan niu-ninaka ka nuchan ika nikukuya
- Today I'm going to stay home because I'm sick
Usage notes
[edit]- In informal speech, the auxiliary verb yawi to indicate periphrastic future often takes the shortened form yu- conjugated for the corresponding person with no plural markers.
