noun/verb

[edit]

someone (i think Equinox) wanted me to clarify this .... just searching for phrases like "KYC provider" makes me think this would be better presented as an ordinary part of speech, and it can be a verb too. more importantly perhaps, it needs a proper definition, since its meaning has grown beyond a simple acronym. i dont know offhand quite what that meaning is, however. i figured it would be a chore to dig up 3 cites in durably archived media. but e.g. here is an example of use

such that i thought this must be a comnpletely different acronym at first, but it really does originate from "Know Your Customer". —Soap— 23:47, 15 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
