Reviewing others' drafts
[edit]Hello, I'm noticing that you're on the AFC reviewer list yet regularly get your own draft submissions declined... That's pretty concerning; normally being a reviewer means your grasp of notability criteria is supposed to be rock solid. Can you explain why your drafts may be getting declined so frequently? grapesurgeon (talk) 01:04, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Grapesurgeon I was lurking around and I wondered the same thing. I saw at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation/Showcase that @Wikiman2230 accepted 2009_Aerolift_Ilyushin_Il-76_crash... aren't those supposed to be the "best" new articles? That article might be good, but yes, there are a bunch of decline notices here as you say. David10244 (talk) 04:10, 13 September 2026 (UTC)
- @David10244 may be best to open a discussion about review rights for wikiman; concerning and hasn't improved grapesurgeon (talk) 11:13, 13 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Grapesurgeon I would prefer that you do that, if possible--I'll soon be away from WP for a couple of weeks. David10244 (talk) 04:22, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Wikiman2230 Please acknowledge this discussion. Can you voluntarily stop reviewing articles at AFC for now? I may ask others at AFC to review your review record depending on how this discussion goes.
- The fact that you've had so many misses so far is concerning; you shouldn't be making this many mistakes at understanding notability criteria. grapesurgeon (talk) 00:31, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Grapesurgeon Alright I'll take a break for now. I already acknowledgeed this discussion anyways, yet I didn't say anything because I didn't wanna get blocked. Wikiman (Talk) 00:39, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
BLAR notice
[edit]Hi there. While reviewing new pages, I noticed that a page you created, Michael E. Pastor, does not appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines as a standalone article. As an alternative to deletion, I've redirected it to People v. Murray. If you disagree, feel free to revert my redirect and we can proceed to a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. (If you reply to me here, please ping me as I am not watching this page.) Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:57, 10 September 2026 (UTC)

Nomination of Enzo Aliaga-Rossel for deletion
[edit]The article is being discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Enzo Aliaga-Rossel until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may still edit the article, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the AfD notice from the article until the discussion is closed.Edit warring
[edit]
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Church of Scientology. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing.

- @PancakeGuy20 Thanks. I'm on mobile, so it looks a bit strange with the formatting. But thanks anyways Wikiman (Talk) 21:14, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
- No problem, hope this makes up for getting your page deleted. PancakeGuy20 (talk) 21:17, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
- It's more likely the "looks a bit strange" is from the indenting of things that don't work when indented (section headers), or don't like to be indented (afc templates, navboxes). I've removed the indents, and since this is sharing the source code and not a live draft, I've wrapped the whole thing in pre tags to deactivate the draft templates and have collapsed for ease of conversation. Apologies for the intrusion, hope you both have a happy weekend, Zinnober9 (talk) 06:09, 26 September 2026 (UTC)
- Many thanks, have a nice Saturday!
