Voluntary Childlessness Article
[edit]Hi, was there an issue in particular with my editing you wanted to bring up? Fephisto (talk) 18:52, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Fephisto: I had to remind myself. Looking at your edits, the only thing to note that I can see is that headings should be in sentence case, not title case. — Smjg (talk) 14:44, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Surprise album, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Single. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:04, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Jvcnipper.png
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Jvcnipper.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:40, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
Invitation to participate in a research
[edit]Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
Kind Regards,
Reminder to participate in Wikipedia research

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Hi SmjG. My name is Danaka Williams and I work for Parexel. Pursuant to WP:COI, I posted a request on the Parexel Talk page to update the bulleted list of acquisitions with a table that relies on independent citations instead of press releases. Your recent edits on the page inferred you might have an interest in the acquisitions list and I thought I'd see if you have a minute to take a look at my request on Talk as an impartial editor.
I noticed you are listed at Talk:Parexel as someone affiliated with Parexel. I presume that is not actually the case, since I have verified Parexel has no employees by your name and have not seen any disclosure as alleged on Talk. If you do have a conflict of interest, let me know so I can ask someone else. DWwilliams001 (talk) 17:42, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Just realised I hadn't replied to this. I am an employee of Perceptive, which as you may know was previously a subsidiary of Parexel and brand-merged before breaking off as Calyx and recently reverting to Perceptive. It was my understanding that, in order to declare a connection, it suffices to add that template to the talk page.
- Now that I work for a separate company, I guess it isn't the same, but I'm not sure. Still, I'll have a look. It may be wise to ask someone else to be sure. — Smjg (talk) 20:43, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Got it - I understand the situation better now. My understanding is that former employees of a company who are editing during their free time and have no current financial connection to the topic are generally allowed to edit and are not even required to make disclosures. After all, the best editors will usually have some connection to the industry they are writing on.
- You could check my analysis at the help desk, but you won't hear any complaints from me. But let me know if you don't want to collaborate on it and I'll see if I can find someone else. Thanks for responding either way. DWwilliams001 (talk) 17:11, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 8
[edit]An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ronald Opus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rivervale.
(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 19:56, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Did said automated process detect that at the same time I added {{dn}}, because I don't know which place by that name was meant? — Smjg (talk) 19:59, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
CalyxAI
[edit]Do ur research on CalyxAI and Perceptive and then message me. Stop wasting my time and energy and do not message me. Ustadeditor2011 (talk) 03:32, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Ustadeditor2011: What the hell are you talking about? And what the hell is "CalyxAI"? If you make a statement in a Wikipedia article, it is your responsibility to source it, not anybody else's responsibility to "do ur research". — Smjg (talk) 13:30, 1 March 2025 (UTC)

N'Ko script revert
[edit]I've taken a second look at my revert and you're correct. I forgot N'ko digits behave differently than Arabic ones. I shouldn't make updates before I have my morning coffee. My apologies. DRMcCreedy (talk) 15:56, 16 September 2026 (UTC)
