Civility

[edit]

Hi Borgenland, I would like to ask that you do not jump straight to assertions of LOUTSOCKING, especially for new editors. As a general note, when dealing with incivility, there are times when it can be helpful to step back rather than engage further. CMD (talk) 07:12, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I understand, though to be fair I had the urge to see whether it is a one-off slip or a complete embrace of bad faith on their part. Borgenland (talk) 07:16, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Are you sure though that their starting aspersions as to my background should be left unhatted? Borgenland (talk) 07:43, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I hatted a partial portion of the discussion to facilitate its reading, namely where the discussion strayed from diffs into simple invective that could be summed up in the hat's note. The entire discussion has now been closed by someone else. CMD (talk) 10:12, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hak Ja Han's release from detention

[edit]

Hi, Borgenland.

I understand why you deleted an 'unsupported' sentence about her release from jail. However, I googled and found a couple of news articles showing that Han was indeed released from detention and allowed a hospital stay.

Is it okay if I restore the offending sentence, with citations?

Uncle Ed (talk) 14:12, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

No prob. The way it was placed incongruously in the paragraph just made me suspicious. Borgenland (talk) 14:14, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
