- This is a comment rather than a review. Most of our readers know very little about cricket, and to them, phrases such as "a 94-run stand" and "highest 7th-wicket partnership in LPL history" are virtually unintelligible. If this were a hook about American football, it would be rejected for sure on grounds that it does not appeal to a sufficiently broad audience. Is there another phrasing or, better, a new hook that would be more understandable/appealing to a general audience? Cbl62 (talk) 01:44, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Ravana: The nomination will be marked for closure if no new hook is proposed. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 09:06, 21 October 2026 (UTC)
- @Cbl62:: @Narutolovehinata5:: Thank you for the feedback! Here is a non-jargon alternative hook focusing on off-field interest. Ravana TALK 09:23, 21 October 2026 (UTC)
