Upper Eastside (Miami) → Upper Eastside – Superfluous dab. Miracle Pen (talk) 22:39, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oppose. Many towns and cities have an area that could be described as an upper east side. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:46, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
- Really? Where are their articles at Wikipedia? — AjaxSmack 11:05, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
- Comment The dabnotes already deal with that. Miracle Pen (talk) 23:02, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Strong oppose New York City has a very notable upper east side. A disambiguation page should exist. 184.144.163.181 (talk) 05:02, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
- Comment There's already dabnotes on both pages. Miracle Pen (talk) 09:52, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support. The proposal changes nothing in relation to User:184.144.163.181's point above. Upper Eastside already redirects to Upper Eastside (Miami) so there's no reason not to move it. Someone looking for New York's Upper East Side is going the have to read the hatnote and click the link either way. And unless a DAB page is created, which is not warranted per WP:TWODABS, the current situation with hatnotes works fine. — AjaxSmack 11:05, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Support per AjaxSmack. (And NY's Upper East Side is never written as Upper Eastside anyway.) Station1 (talk) 15:51, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Support; per WP:TWODABS. We have two possible uses. One is at Upper East Side, so the other can be at Upper Eastside without concern, so long as hatnotes are present on both articles. Powers ^T 13:09, 13 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
