Too many commas
[edit]While the Constitution does not explicitly discuss the issue of whether states have the power to secede from the Union, shortly after the Civil War, the U.S. Supreme Court, in Texas v. White, held that a state cannot unilaterally do so.
This doesn't, as it happens, read, to me, very smoothly. I'm not, however, sure, at this point, how to improve it. jlwoodwa (talk) 21:46, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
