It's complete fucking nonsense, and it has nothing to do with Tupac other than somebody latching on for clout. ~2026-44967-00 (talk) 02:46, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Galynn Derella the whole revision should just be reverted. Dgisser (talk) 06:10, 23 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

He was murdered twice

[edit]

Article on Shakur mentions he was murdered and then 6 months later he was murdered again. Zingbust (talk) 11:53, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ambiguity and Incomplete Issues

[edit]

There are several sections where information is not complete or is provided in ambiguous terms.

For instance:

"In November 1994, Shakur was shot five times in the lobby of a New York recording studio and experienced legal troubles, including incarceration. He served eight months in prison on sexual abuse charges, but was released pending appeal in 1995.[25]"

This passage seems to indicate that he was shot and also faced legal trouble in the lobby in November 1994.

It creates the impression that both of those things happened in the lobby in November 1994 and that they are related but does not indicate in what manner they are related.

The passage then indicates that he spent time in prison for sexual abuse but provides no details about the case or the evidence. That is importantly contextual information.

It notes that he was released pending appeal. That suggests that he was convicted in the first instance but does not say it outright. It also does not explain whether his appeal was ultimately successful.

It is important when writing a biographical article to ensure that all reported information is taken to its logical end.

Another example occurs in the portion which briefly sets out the movies in which he has allegedly starred.

Two of those films were dated after the year of his death. There is no explanation as to how he could have starred in those movies: was historic footage used for the films? Or is this an error in the dates or the acting credits?

This article needs to be reworked to remove ambiguity and close holes in the biography.

Tupac Shakur's death anniversary is coming up, and this it a less than flattering photo of the man. Mikaeljohan (talk) 15:12, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Definitely already mentioned this topic before, for some reason we don't have great public domain pictures of Tupac. Hopefully something comes up that Wikimedia can store. Otherwise, just an enhanced picture of his passport will do. Untitledwav (talk) 22:20, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
