In the infobox in the section of the Allied powers It has a link to Czechoslovakia but the flag of Poland? KX8TNOpedia (talk) 01:14, 24 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

The Czechoslovak flag used to just be white-on-red, but a blue triangle was later added, creating the flag we know today. ~2026-37015-79 (talk) 22:34, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Didn't the Russian Civil War go on for longer?

[edit]

The Yakut revolt was still ongoing past that date, and this source considers the end date of the Yakut revolt, 1923, to be a part of the Russian Civil War. QuisEstJoe (talk) 22:25, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Paragraph needs a rewrite

[edit]

@Cinderella157 I am trying to copyedit the last paragraph in the Initial anti-Bolshevik uprisings section because it is poorly written and confusing. I tried my best to parse the sources' meaning and preserve it in my previous edit, which you reverted. Do you have access to these or better sources, and can you suggest an alternative approach to a rewrite or explain what problems you saw with my edit? Monk of Monk Hall (talk) 23:04, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Monk of Monk Hall, I inadvertently removed your edit when it was my intention to revert the one that followed - changing a sourced date. I have reinstated your edit and apologise for my mistake. Cinderella157 (talk) 23:31, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ah, ok cool. Thanks! Monk of Monk Hall (talk) 01:29, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Negative bias by immediately showing Red Army executions.

Lacks historical context. Those hung by the people's army in the civil war were war criminals or those who had committed acts equating to slavery under the Tsardom. The Russian people had lived under at least 500 years of brutal serfdom, and presenting it in a western mindset like an equal battle between freedom fighters is misinformation. The whites were those in power under an antidemocratic and antihuman system, they defended the system of exploitation and abject slavery. Defending such a system is not only anti democratic but anti human. Regardless of the system the workers and people of Russia chose after the Tsardom, this event should be celebrated as is the French and American revolution. Freedom from slavery is a god given right. Despite what those in Langley would like, humanity may now unite under a banner of freedom from servitude. The wikipedia page on our glorious american and french recolutiosn is presented in a purely postive light, as it should be. Can we not equate this revolution in the same sense? It is the right of all free people's to celebrate their liberation from 5,000 years of slavery. Fix this to celebrate our victory as humanity over the natural satanic earthly forces of satan. ~2026-51941-24 (talk) 00:32, 27 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

I got as far as "should be celebrated as is the French and American revolution. Freedom from slavery is a god given right.". It may be comparable to Nazi Germany taking power, but not to the French and American revolutions. And the last thing the Russian Revolution and Civil War brought to Russia was freedom from slavery. No merit to this suggestion.  // Timothy :: talk  01:26, 27 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
