John Lennon was not straight

[edit]

Yoko said that he 'might have been gay'. Source: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/09/yoko-ono-believed-john-lennon-might-have-been-gay/ BillieCrygor (talk) 11:33, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

I don't see how this is at all notable, especially her saying this now at age 93, and 45 years after his murder. – zmbro (talk) (cont) 14:43, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
She also said Lennon had the haircut he sported on 6 December 1980 on 8 December. Hotcop2 (talk) 00:18, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm a little late, but this statement by her was made to Paul McCartney shortly after Lennon had passed, not recently. QuindyJones (talk) 04:03, 4 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Use of word propaganda

[edit]

Flagging the phrase "anti-Nixon propaganda". An individual expressing their opinion, no matter how famous they may be, is not propaganda. Propaganda is sytemic and almost always propagated by governments or other complex organisations. This feels like politicized language ~2026-19419-96 (talk) 04:37, 29 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Typo

[edit]

The sentence "In he mid-1960s," includes a typo, as this article is protected I am unable to fix it. Sorry if I should't use Talk for this. ~2026-28902-92 (talk) 08:34, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the callout! It's been fixed. Typically, non-account holders can fix basic things such as typos themselves, but for larger edits, it's encouraged to create an account. Hope this helps! – zmbro (talk) (cont) 12:52, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Dyslexia claim

[edit]

The source cited for the claim that Lennon had dyslexia is a very flimsy one, being a brief bio on a dyslexia website citing no other sources in turn. Brief internet searching leads me to believe that Lennon was never formally diagnosed and that this claim originated with Albert Goldman's book The Lives of John Lennon, which is considered an untrustworthy source with lots of speculation presented as fact. Should this be changed to say that it's been speculated he was dyslexic, or perhaps removed entirely? ~2026-31876-13 (talk) 03:10, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
