Is there any actual source for Kojima having a wife and child past a throwaway line in a tiny article about MGS3 written by a notoriously unserious writer? I can't seem to find anything. PostGhants (talk) 16:16, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hideo Kojima's forward in the authorized strategy guide for Metal Gear Solid, published by Millennium Publications September 1998, a few weeks after the game's release, ends with him saying "Finally, I would like to thank my wife and son who have affectionately supported me over these past few years [:] a husband and father who has not spent enough time with his family."

@Carradines per WP:BLPRESTORE, please discuss here why you believe your WP:PRIMARY sourced claim (though technically you're restoring it completely unsourced) should be added to the article. I'm not entirely against the claim being added somewhere if a better source gets added, but as I've noted in my reversions, I don't believe the claim is suitable for the lead. Even if it was, it needs a better source to support what appears to be your personal analysis of the tweet. ^LaffyTaffer 💬(she/they) 15:05, 13 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
