Nonsensical sentence

[edit]

This sentence is incomplete and doesn’t make sense:

Historian Jeffrey Kimball developed the theory that Kissinger and the Nixon administration accepted a South Vietnamese collapse provided a face-saving decent interval passed between U.S. withdrawal and defeat. ~2026-18803-67 (talk) 08:07, 26 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

~2026-18803-67: I'm not sure what is "nonsensical" or unclear about the sentence in question. The full paragraph does a fine job of elaborating on the "decent interval" concept, which it defines as "a delayed defeat ... [after] '18 months or some period'".
If even that explanation is still not clear enough, then we can always merge additional content from the main Decent interval article.TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 06:01, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Mentioning he's a war criminal should take precedence

[edit]

Should read "Henry Alfred Kissinger[a] (May 27, 1923 – November 29, 2023) was an American war criminal, diplomat, political scientist, and politician ~2026-19729-85 (talk) 11:29, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Obviously not, that is an inappropriate tone for an encyclopedia. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 12:13, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Kissinger is Not a Ritchie Boy

[edit]

While Kissinger was CIC, he is not a Ritchie Boy. We have a letter our late Ritchie Boy researcher received from Kissinger's office stating he was never at Camp Ritchie, the letter dates to 2010, well past the declassification of the Camp Ritchie information. He is also not on any roster for classes at Camp Ritchie MITC. ~2026-47101-85 (talk) 19:15, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
