The Parliament of Burundi (Kirundi: Abashingamateka) consists of two chambers:

  • The Senate, called Inama nkenguzamateka in Kirundi, is made up of 13 members
  • The National Assembly,[1] called Inama nshingamateka in Kirundi, is made up of 111 members
