Aftershock 2023 took place during a week of high temperatures and hydration stations were provided to festival goers.[14][15] Pantera pulled out of the festival due to "circumstances beyond our control", being replaced by Stone Temple Pilots.[16] Prior to Aftershock, Corey Taylor injured his leg during a show in Los Angeles and also pulled out of the festival. Members of his touring group were also having difficulties with Covid-19.[17]

Cancellations

Aftershock 2024

[edit]

Aftershock 2024 saw the introduction of a new fifth stage, allowing an additional 30 bands to perform on the festival lineup. Approximately 160,000 people were in attendance for the festival weekend.[18][19]

Cancellations

Aftershock 2025

[edit]

Crowds attending Aftershock 2025 faced muddy conditions due to on-and-off rainy weather all throughout the weekend.[20] The Jack Daniel's stage was renamed to the Aftershock stage to better reflect the festival's branding, and the Soundwave stage from the previous year was removed due to concerns about congestion and noise interference.

Aftershock 2026

[edit]

Aftershock 2026 will return to the five stage setup from 2024, with a separate area for the fifth stage to the west of the Jiboom Street bridge.
