Four tools. One overlay.

Screen capture

RuneShape prices

Select the RuneShape loot list to see market prices beside its items, in Exalted or Divine Orbs. Reads HDR, dimmed screens and 4K capture regions.

Rune combinations

Expedition advisor

Compare combinations by reward value per monster wave. Show rune names and highlight rare tiles to help choose your next combination.

Ctrl+C

Maps & Tablets

Copy a Waystone or Tablet and check its properties and modifiers against your Keep / Avoid rules. Set numeric thresholds; matching lines appear in green or red.

Ctrl+C

Item Price Lookup

Copy a supported item to see its unit and stack prices in Exalted and Divine Orbs beside your cursor. Uses the poe.ninja database and works with RuneShape OCR switched off.

Enable the tools you need in Tools. In Settings → Appearance, adjust fonts, backgrounds and outlines with a live preview. Maps can appear in a selected area or beside the cursor; cursor panels hide when you move away.

How it works

  1. I

Download and choose your tools. Run the app, select your league in Settings → General, and enable tools on the Tools page. On Linux, make the file executable with chmod +x.

  2. II

For RuneShape: choose the game language, click Select area, and drag around the loot list. Enable Expedition advisor for combination advice. F8 toggles OCR; F9 reads once.

  3. III

For Maps or Item Prices: hover an item in the game and press Ctrl+C. For map filters, open Maps, find a property or modifier, and add it to Keep or Avoid.

Change OCR hotkeys in Settings → Hotkeys. On Wayland, bind the app commands in your compositor; see the Linux setup notes.

Selecting the menu, prices as the list scrolls, the Expedition advisor, rune names on the overlay, and prices switched to divine orbs.

Questions

How do Keep and Avoid work?

All Keep conditions must pass; any Avoid match rejects the item. Use numeric comparisons such as rarity greater than 50%, or avoid a modifier at any value. Your last copied map stays in the editor after the overlay disappears.

Can it price every item?

Item Price Lookup shows market entries available in the poe.ninja database for your selected league. It does not appraise a rare item’s individual modifiers. If no reliable match is found, it shows that the price is unavailable.

Does it touch the game?

RuneHelper reads your selected screen region for OCR and watches copied item text while Maps or Item Price Lookup is enabled. It does not read game memory, inject code or send input to the game.

Why does Windows warn about it?

The Windows build is not code-signed yet, and Microsoft Defender's machine-learning check tends to flag unsigned programs that capture the screen, draw over other windows and register hotkeys. It is a false positive: the source code and the build that produces every release are public on GitHub, and each release is reported to Microsoft.

Where do the prices come from?

From poe.ninja, through a cache on denz.pw that refreshes hourly, so poe.ninja is not called from every computer. If the cache cannot be reached, the app asks poe.ninja directly.

Which game languages does it read?

English, Русский, Deutsch, Français, Español, Português, 한국어, 日本語 and ไทย. OCR uses the game language you select; copied item text is detected automatically. Map rules use the language in which you created them. The app interface is in English.

Privacy

Screen captures and copied item text are processed locally. Clipboard contents are not uploaded; price lookup uses the downloaded market data.

RuneHelper has no accounts, no telemetry and no analytics. Your settings, the price cache and the log stay on your computer, in %APPDATA%\Denz\RuneHelper on Windows and ~/.config/RuneHelper on Linux.

The app makes three kinds of requests, each with its version in the User-Agent header:

  • Prices: https://denz.pw/poe2/economy with the league and item category, or poe.ninja directly when denz.pw cannot be reached.
  • RuneShape recipes: https://denz.pw/poe2/combinations.json, once at start.
  • Update check: the GitHub API, for the latest release.

denz.pw keeps a technical log of requests (time, IP address, requested address and user agent) to run the service and stop abuse. Daily visitor counts are stored as salted hashes of IP addresses, which cannot be turned back into addresses. Nothing is sold or shared.

This page loads nothing from other sites. Downloads and the update check go to GitHub, where the GitHub privacy statement applies.
