I build complexproducts that feelsimple.

Product interfaces, SaaS platforms, real-time systems, and experiments at the intersection of frontend and AI.

Products I'm building

Three products I design and build independently. All are live and still evolving — professional work is in the experience section below.

Profolify

A visual portfolio builder — the canvas you edit is the site you ship.

A no-code portfolio builder: pick one of eight templates, edit on a live canvas, publish to a URL or export a static site you own.

Retune

A television that never stopped broadcasting 2010.

Eleven channels airing right now, whether or not the tab is open. You cannot pause, scrub or pick — you can change the channel, and that is all.

Lucid

On-device computer vision for calmer feeds.

A Chrome extension that filters distracting and explicit content on Instagram and TikTok using a vision transformer running entirely in the browser — no cloud calls, no images leaving the machine.

Built for other people

Roles, the products they shipped, and the engineering problems worth mentioning.

How I build

Engineering approach

Six areas that describe the kind of problems I work on, rather than a list of tools with progress bars attached.

  1. 01

    Interfaces

Design systems and interaction-heavy UI, built responsive-first and accessible by default rather than retrofitted.

    • Design systems
    • Responsive layout
    • Accessibility
    • Motion
  2. 02

    Architecture

Component boundaries that hold up as a product grows — reusable hooks, feature-scoped modules, and a structure people can navigate.

    • Feature modules
    • Custom hooks
    • Composition
    • TypeScript
  3. 03

    Data & state

Server state separated from UI state, with cache keys designed up front. Optimistic updates where the interaction should feel instant.

    • TanStack Query
    • Zustand
    • Optimistic updates
    • REST APIs
  4. 04

    Real-time

Live UI over WebSockets — shared connections, subscription hooks, and reconnection logic that lives in one place instead of every feature.

    • WebSockets
    • Notifications
    • Subscription hooks
    • Backoff
  5. 05

    Performance

Rendering strategy first: windowing, pagination and caching for interfaces that carry more data than fits on a screen.

    • Windowed rendering
    • Cursor pagination
    • Caching
    • Profiling
  6. 06

    Experiments

Browser extensions, client-side ML inference, and interaction models that don't have an established pattern to copy.

    • Extensions
    • ONNX Runtime Web
    • Canvas
    • Web Audio
About
Kathmandu, Nepal

Frontend engineer based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I enjoy building product interfaces where design, engineering and interaction meet.

What keeps me interested is turning a real problem into something people can actually use — the part where a vague frustration becomes an interface someone opens every day. That is the same instinct behind the client work, the products I build on my own, and the experiments.

Currently focused on React, Next.js, TypeScript, product architecture, and experimenting with AI-powered interfaces.
