AI-assisted contributions
Use automated help without bypassing the project’s runtime contracts.
AI can help explain an application, draft a focused installer section, review shell quoting, or identify a nearby reference script. It cannot substitute for platform testing or for reading the current Core contracts.
Give any assistant the target repository, supported platform(s), relevant current reference script, and the Core boundary: application scripts call the loader and prepared install runtime; they do not copy or reimplement Core. Ask it to preserve the current bootstrap and template flow, avoid raw URL imports, and keep a change limited to the requested application behaviour.
Review generated code like any other change. Verify shell syntax, variables passed to the installer, service/user permissions, unprivileged-container compatibility, and update behaviour. Never submit generated credentials, tokens, private URLs, or unreviewed broad rewrites.
