Downtown Library Construction Notice: Starting October 5, construction will begin on the 11th Street side and part of Broad Street. The 11th Street entrance will periodically be closed to the public.

Northgate Temporary Closure Notice: Northgate will be closed Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October17, for parking lot resurfacing. Northgate will reopen Monday, October 19.

Board Meeting Notice: Take notice pursuant to TCA 8-44-103 the Chattanooga Public Library Board of Directors’ regularly scheduled board meeting will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Downtown Library, 1001 Broad Street.
