Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport will have nonstop flights to two Caribbean destinations starting at the end of 2024 and early 2025.
Sun Country Airlines is adding nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and from Milwaukee to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The flights are seasonal and will operate during peak winter and spring break periods.
Flights from Milwaukee to Punta Cana will start on Dec. 26, 2024 and run through April 7, 2025. The flights will initially run twice per week but will increase to four times per week starting Jan. 23.
Flights from Milwaukee to Montego Bay will start on Jan. 25, 2025 and run through April 5, 2025. The flights will run twice per week.
“Jamaica and the Dominican Republic are popular winter destinations for Milwaukee-based travelers, and we’re pleased Sun Country is providing additional low-fare options to these family-friendly warm weather destinations,” Airport Director Brian Dranzik said. “These new flights will give more travelers the opportunity to hit the beach with just one easy nonstop flight from MKE.”
Sun Country is also adding more flights to Cancun, Mexico. There will be daily service for the next winter and spring break travel period.
Sun Country also now offers nonstop flights to five locations in the U.S. These are Fort Myers, Florida; Las Vegas; Minneapolis; Orlando and Phoenix.
