Regular bus routes in Monaco

Six regular bus routes serve the various neighbourhoods of Monaco. They run daily from approximately 7.00 am to 9.00 pm, with very frequent services at each stop. Their various routes ensure optimal coverage of the Principality, its residential areas, monuments and other points of interest:

The night bus

After 9 pm, two night bus routes (N1 and N2) provide transport around the Principality. Route N1 covers the same destinations as daytime routes 1 and 4, whilst route N2 follows a similar route to routes 2 and 4.

The Express routes

From Monday to Friday during the day, four express routes (known as XPRESS) connect the Principality’s main attractions, with just three or four stops along the route:

  • Line X1  : Exotic Garden – Belgique (station access) – Place d’Armes – Le Rocher
  • Line X2  : Exotic Garden – Pont Sainte-Dévote (station access) – Monte-Carlo Tourisme – Portier (Mareterra and Grimaldi Forum)
  • Line X3  : Fontvieille Albert II – Port de Fontvieille – Princesse Antoinette (Port Hercule/station access) – Portier (Mareterra and Grimaldi Forum) – Larvotto

On-demand bus services

The Plati, Fleurs and Annonciade districts of Monaco do not have regular bus stops. The Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco operates ‘ClicBus’ shuttle services in these areas, which can be booked directly by passengers to travel to Place d'Armes, Fontvieille Shopping Centre, Monte-Carlo Tourisme, the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG) and Place des Moulins in the town centre. The service operates from 7.00 am to 9.20 pm, seven days a week.

The ClicBus service also operates at night, from 9.20 pm to 1.30 am (2.30 am on Fridays and Saturdays), serving all regular bus stops in Monaco.

Book by calling +377 92 00 17 99 or via the ClicBus app.
