Name
The official name of the Board of Education shall be "The Cedar Grove Board of Education in the County of Essex."
Purpose
The Board of Education exists for the purpose of providing a thorough and efficient system of free public education in grades Kindergarten through twelve in the Cedar Grove School District.
Composition
The Cedar Grove School District is comprised of all the area within the municipal boundaries of Cedar Grove.
Classification
The school district shall be classified as a Type II district.

The address of the Board of Education shall be 520 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, New Jersey 07009.
