Gun-toting assassins try to wipe out a group of aliens that wants to use humans in New Zealand for food.

Critics Consensus

Peter Jackson's early low-budget shocker boasts a disgusting premise - aliens harvesting humans for fast food - that gives the budding auteur plenty of room for gross-out visuals and absurd cleverness.

I miss Peter Jackson in his ultra low-budget horror mode. He always looked like he was having fun. Not half as good as Dead Alive, but still a hoot.

Jackson does it all in this movie: writes, directs, stars, produces, and designs the makeup.

Primeiro filme do Peter Jordan.

Weird, gory, campy, and hilarious. Peter Jackson's debut is a serious trip!

Be prepared to get sprayed with gallons of blood, guts and puke as soon as you hit play on your VCR from Peter Jackson's ultra-gory and hilariously distasteful directorial debut.

Sadly, as a Jackson fan this one was a miss. A little too bad, to be bad in a good way. Points for creativity with supposedly a super low budget. Worth skipping to see "Meet the Feebles" or "Dead Alive" which are far superior movies.
