Domain Update
Atlas Data Privacy Corporation, et al. v. Revealname.com, et al. Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Middlesex County Docket No. MID-L-000901-24
The domain name revealname.com is now controlled by Atlas Data Privacy Corporation (“Atlas”).
On February 8, 2024, Atlas and seven individual plaintiffs filed a lawsuit in New Jersey Superior Court: Atlas Data Privacy Corporation, et al. v. Revealname.com, et al. In the Complaint, Atlas asserted claims assigned to it by approximately 18,996 law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and other “covered persons” under New Jersey’s Daniel’s Law, which protects home addresses and unpublished home telephone numbers from disclosure.
Atlas and the operator of the Revealname.com website have entered into a settlement agreement, and this lawsuit has now been resolved.
