Did Vijay Varma's Daring Fashion Choice Pay Off?

Black is out. Olive is in.

At least, that's the message Designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna seemed to be sending with their latest showcase held Thursday evening at the Galeries Lafayette in Mumbai.

Known for their contemporary take on Indian fashion, the duo traded the predictable dominance of black for rich, earthy shades of olive, moss and muted greens.

The collection played with the contrast of dark, dramatic hues and shimmering textures that looked edgy and sophisticated.

But it was actor Vijay Varma who gave the showcase its biggest surprise.

The actor, who was last seen in Matka King, commanded attention in an olive green embellished jacket paired with matching trousers, keeping the look casual and contemporary.
