Several Apple services, including the App Store, Apple Music, and Apple TV, faced temporary outages or other issues following scheduled maintenance last night.

While access to all other services has been restored, the Apple TV streaming service is still undergoing maintenance and unavailable for some users, Apple says on its System Status page.

Issues with Apple TV began around 4:43 p.m. ET, with the app failing to load on certain devices. Although Downdetector showed a sharp spike in reports around the same time, the number of reports declined considerably in the following hours.

As of this writing, we can stream shows on iOS and macOS. Apple’s status page, however, is yet to turn green for the service, meaning some users may still be unable to launch the app or access its titles.

It is unusual for Apple TV to be down for so long. Fresh off 29 wins at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, 14 of those for horror-comedy Window’s Bay alone, the platform is currently at the peak of its popularity.

According to Deadline, the streamer also recorded its highest weekly viewership during the week of Sept. 14, thanks to the success of the film Mayday and the fourth season of the hit show Ted Lasso. That same week, Apple began bundling Apple TV at no extra charge with iCloud+ subscriptions across more than 100 countries — excluding the US. In the US, Apple increased the cost of the Apple TV subscription from $12.99 to $14.99 per month in August.
