Good news for those of you in the market for a new Xbox.
Microsoft is knocking $50 off the price of Xbox One consoles, meaning you can now get select bundles for as low as $299, down from $349. That includes the 500GB Xbox One Name Your Game bundle, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle, and Special Edition Quantum Break bundle (which comes with a white Xbox One). Meanwhile, thanks to this sale, select 1TB bundles can now be yours for just $319.
There's no word as to how long this promotion will last; Microsoft says the sale will be available for a "limited time."
Regardless, you may want to hold off on picking up a new Xbox One right now. The sale comes just two weeks ahead of E3, which may just bring some new console news. Recent rumors indicate that a cheaper, smaller Xbox One could arrive this year, while a new flagship Xbox with VR support is set for 2017.

The Xbox One is now three years old, and while that may seem like an eternity for most consumer tech products, stretching out the time between major upgrades is par for the course for console manufacturers. Xbox One did get a software update in January that brought a new Gamerscore leaderboard and improvements for the Home screen and activity feed. At Microsoft's Build developer conference in March, Xbox head Phil Spencer didn't mention any new consoles, but did say that the Xbox will be more closely integrated with Windows going forward.
