A software as a service (SaaS) version of Windows from Microsoft. Introduced in 2021, Windows 365 enables a business to run Windows on any computer because all the Windows functionality takes place in the cloud and is streamed to the users' computers. All user data is stored in Microsoft's servers, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager provides a unified console for administration. See cloud computing.

Windows 365 vs. Microsoft 365

Windows 365 is a cloud-based Windows, whereas Microsoft 365 is the company's Office suite with applications installed in the user's computer. See Microsoft 365.
