cookie stuffing
Placing a tracking cookie for some affiliate into a browser without the user's knowledge. For example, because Amazon's affiliate program is so huge, an Amazon affiliate link might be clandestinely stored in the user's machine. If a purchase is made from Amazon, the affiliate gets credit.
