TL;DR: Pay $74.99 once for lifetime access to 1TB of Vault browser-encrypted cloud storage designed for important documents.
Vault Cloud Storage from Permanentstorage.cloud provides 1TB of encrypted document storage for $74.99 (MSRP $799). The lifetime plan uses a one-time purchase model with no recurring subscription fees.
Files are encrypted inside the browser with AES-GCM-256 before upload. Its zero-knowledge architecture means the service stores encrypted data rather than the readable contents of documents.
Access works differently from a typical cloud account. Instead of a username and password, the Vault uses a unique 12-word recovery phrase.
The service is designed for contracts, tax documents, financial records, IDs, compliance materials, HR files, and similar records. Search, tags, and notes help organize documents, while revocable access keys support controlled sharing. An Export All option lets users download their stored files.
The Vault works through compatible web browsers across multiple devices.
There are practical upload restrictions. Individual files cannot exceed 200 MiB. Standard limits allow 30 files per rolling hour, five upload requests per minute, and two simultaneous uploads, though there is no daily upload-volume quota.
For long-term document storage rather than large media files, this is a focused privacy-first option at a one-time price.
