Get mock interviewed by the people who do the hiring

I had a great system design interview with GooglyJ, who gave targeted, specific feedback tied to actual moments in my design rather than generic comments. They flagged clear things to watch out for, like under-specifying the data model and glossing over failure modes, and suggested concrete improvements such as tightening the API contract and rethinking the datastore choice based on read/write patterns. What stood out most was their emphasis on back-of-the-envelope calculations and timeboxing, pushing me to ground decisions in real numbers and allocate time deliberately across each phase of the design. Thoughtful, practical, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommended.

I have an important interview after several days, I choose this mock interview and want to practice. During this procedure, I made some mistake, and lan give me some time to check before point out this mistake. I have to run the code and pass testcae, He asked me several follow up questions, like how to get a better answer, how to improve performance. He also told me that I can write some pseudo code and ask interviewer if it is ok, and I can negotiate with the interviewers the way I perfer to write code(quite or talk while writing). Thanks to his help.

This was my first design system interview mock with sayz, and similar to the coding interview, it was the most helpful and valuable mock of this type I've had. In addition to the mock itself being good practice, he spent 20-30 minutes at the end going through what I did well, what I could improve, and providing me some great resources. The feedback was specific and actionable, and I am excited to put it into practice. sayz is more expensive than some of the other mock interviewers I'd booked with; however, the value I get out of these sessions makes it completely worth it.
