Great work NIST. Be great to get your support to help bring Security Champion programmes to businesses. Champions are a way to enable colleagues in an organisation to support good Security practices in their teams and has shown positive long term changes to secure practices. My work through CyBehave.com is promoting behavioural cybersecurity and Security Champions.
Alongside the schools, NIST put money into community organizations. They reach people who never enter a degree pipeline, and plenty of the security decisions being made this year belong to somebody with no security title at all.
Great work NIST. Would be great to see this reach smaller organisations too, the ones with no security team at all, where one trained person in IT or finance changes the whole risk picture.
Love to see this! With people being the biggest weakness (also it's biggest strength) to an organization security-wise, always love to see resources being poured in to better the cybersecurity community and general populace!
I guess I'll be the first to say " I 🩷 NIST". I personally have utilized their previous/current frameworks as the foundation for improving many organizations security posture by way of mapping existing processes to NIST controls. Extra fun fact: Both ISC2 and ISACA pull heavily from NIST standards to build their global curricula.
