💼 Now recruiting. Policy & Research Manager, BCS We are currently advertising for a Policy & Research Manager to join the policy and public affairs team at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. If you care about how AI and technology will change the country over the next decade, and you want a hand in making sure that change works for people, this could be the job for you. Tech policy is now where some of the biggest questions in British politics are being settled. Jobs, growth, public services, online safety, who we trust to build the systems we all rely on. This role puts you in the middle of those debates. BCS exists to make IT good for society. The role covers commissioning and running research, turning findings into reports and briefings that decision-makers use, and running roundtables that keep us close to Westminster and Whitehall. We are particularly interested in people with skills in quantitative research and analysis, alongside strong writing and a good understanding of how government makes policy.
