EN 40000-1-1 and EN 40000-1-2 are approved!
So happy to see this standard approved. It has been an honour to contribute, Reaching consensus on a standard is never easy, particularly when it brings together diverse perspectives, expertise, and priorities. The quality of the final result reflects the commitment, professionalism, and collaborative spirit of everyone involved. This achievement belongs to the entire team; Simon Steendam, Ben Kokx, Astrid de Haes, Amerens J., Amelia Alder, Maria Raphael, Constantinos Tsiourtos, Kilian Mitterweger, and all the amazing contributors for the countless discussions, reviews, and improvements that helped bring the document to completion. I am grateful to have been part of the journey.
Congrats Ben Kokx for leading this group and all people that led, fueled and provided valuable contributions.
Great achievement by everyone involved, and great news for the industry. Cybersecurity has to be built into the product lifecycle from the start, and having these standards in place is an important step in that direction.
Fantastic news, thank you for your incredible leadership Ben Kokx! As well as to Simon Steendam, Wendy T. and the rest of Working Group 9, who made this happen!
@all where do i find the approved final versions?
thanks Ben - finger crossed for EN 40000-1-3 :-)
Congratulations to the team! This is a key milestone for CRA and the product requirements in December 2027
Congrats Ben Kokx for leading this group and all people that led, fueled and provided valuable contributions. PS. A special shoutout to Simon Steendam who has been the Co-editor of PT1 (40000-1-2) from the beginning and then the lead editor that carried out most of the work until recently.
