Last week I spent my morning at Google's Canadian 🇨🇦 HQ for the Google AI Connect roundtable during #TorontoTechWeek! We dove deep into the future of AI in Canada with fellow founders, ecosystem builders, and government representatives like Federal MP Karim Bardeesy (Secretary to the Minister of Industry). The discussion tackled both the immense opportunities for our economy and the real-world challenges of deploying AI responsibly. For me, these conversations are where my worlds collide. As a CTO with also a degree in Political Science, I’m deeply passionate about techno-policy. Being in a room where we can bridge the gap between what is technically possible and what is societally beneficial is exactly where I want to be.
