A decade ago, Walmart set out to help make the production of 20 key commodities more sustainable for people and planet. I’m proud to share our FY2026 Sustainable Commodities Report, reflecting on the progress, learning and partnerships that have helped advance this work. As the initiative concludes, its lessons will continue to inform our approach to advancing more sustainable sourcing, supporting producer livelihoods and helping conserve the ecosystems that underpin these value chains.

AI is most powerful when people have the opportunity to learn, use it and see how it can make a difference. 🤝 Across Walmart, associates are putting AI to work to solve problems, save time and better serve customers and members. From storm-rerouting tools in Canada to apps that turn handwritten notes into action items in Idaho, their ideas are helping turn possibility into progress. 💡 More than 2 million associates have access to no-cost AI learning, and associates who completed OpenAI training reported a 27% increase in confidence using AI. 📈 We are a people-led, tech-powered company. What does it take to lead through a period of rapid change? Stay close to the people doing the work.  I sat down with David Guggina, President and CEO, Walmart U.S., for the latest episode of (Four)ward Thinking, and we talked about what’s ahead for our business, our customers and members, and our associates.  A few takeaways from our conversation:  🔹 Stay obsessed with the frontline. Dave shared a lesson from his grandfather that has stayed with him since his first leadership role: spend time where the work is happening, listen and build relationships.  🔹 Make complexity feel simple. There’s an incredible amount happening behind the scenes to give customers a seamless experience. The goal is to use technology to make things simpler for both customers and associates.  🔹 Bring the best of people and technology together. Technology can process data and automate repetitive work. People bring creativity, problem-solving and care. We need both.  To learn more about how Dave is thinking about his first holiday season leading Walmart U.S. check out this episode. #TeamWalmart #Leadership #FourwardThinking

A holiday classic gets a Walmart twist. Our new holiday campaign, “A Who Knew Carol,” brings together The Muppets, Walton Goggins and Stephanie Beatriz for a fresh take on a familiar story. Inspired by The Muppet Christmas Carol, the campaign combines humor, nostalgia and a few unexpected surprises to showcase the favorite brands, exciting gifts and incredible value customers can discover at Walmart this season. Because sometimes the best holiday finds make you say, “Who Knew?”

A better health experience starts with making the next step easier.   For many customers, the challenge is not knowing they need care. It is figuring out where to go, what options are available, what they may cost, and how to fit care into an already busy day.   That is the friction Walmart is working to help solve.   Today, we are expanding Walmart’s Better Care Services platform with General Medicine to give customers a clearer way to explore and compare care options in one place. Across urgent care, mental health, pediatric care, nutrition, weight-management support, and more, customers can consider what works for their needs, budget, and timeline.   For many services, customers can also see estimated out-of-pocket costs based on the insurance information they provide, alongside cash prices where offered, before deciding how to proceed.   Customers already turn to Walmart for everyday health and wellness needs. Better Care Services builds on that trust by helping make care easier to navigate and the next step easier to take.   Learn more about the expansion: https://lnkd.in/e9yFMvvB Explore Better Care Services: https://lnkd.in/ec7B-bCx

AI agents are moving from answering questions to taking action. In commerce, that means they need to do more than interpret a website built for people: they need a reliable, structured way to interact with a retailer’s systems. Today, we’re sharing how Walmart is building for that shift. We’re opening a beta that lets developers connect their agents with Sparky through the Walmart Agent Gateway, alongside dedicated agent profiles and clear terms for how agents can interact with Walmart. A structured connection can make those interactions more predictable. Agent profiles give us a way to define and manage what an agent is authorized to do. Customers can see and change those permissions, and by default, they approve every transaction. These are important building blocks for agentic commerce. As the technology evolves, we’re focused on connecting systems in a reliable way while keeping customer authorization, visibility and accountability at the center. https://lnkd.in/g7S2nAuj
