The next chapter of climate action is about delivery. Countries have put forward ambitious climate plans. Now comes the challenge of turning those commitments into investments, stronger resilience and better lives. #ClimatePromise: Forward is helping bring the United Nations system together behind that task. Jointly coordinated by UN Sustainable Development Group and UNDP, the initiative connects climate implementation with wider development priorities, helping countries access expertise and support across policy, finance, solutions and engagement. Because implementing Nationally Determined Contributions means more than reducing emissions. It also means reliable energy, resilient livelihoods, stronger food systems and opportunities that reach those too often left behind. Read more: https://go.undp.org/NHi

Nearly four decades of global cooperation under the Montreal Protocol have put the ozone layer on a path to recovery, showing what is possible when countries come together around science and a shared purpose. That cooperation has continued to evolve. Ten years ago, countries adopted the Kigali Amendment, extending the Protocol’s work to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), potent greenhouse gases widely used in cooling. Today, we are seeing encouraging progress: global HFC production and consumption have peaked and begun to decline. But our work continues. As demand for cooling grows, we need to build on this progress and ensure that sustainable cooling supports people, development and our planet. Here's what we have achieved – and the work ahead: https://go.undp.org/Ng9
