Tekpon is the buyer-side platform for SaaS procurement. We help businesses discover the right software, negotiate better deals, and eliminate wasteful spending, saving 30-40% on average. Unlike review directories that prioritize vendor relationships, we work exclusively for buyers. Our expert team combines procurement services, transparent benchmarking, and vendor-neutral advice to help you stop overpaying and start optimizing. In December 2025, we acquired TNW (The Next Web) from the Financial Times, adding one of Europe's most respected tech media brands to our platform. This makes Tekpon the only company integrating procurement expertise, marketplace intelligence, independent journalism, and community events. What We Do: 💰 Procurement Services – Stack audits, vendor negotiation, and renewal optimization. We eliminate shelfware, consolidate tools, and secure enterprise pricing without enterprise budgets. 🔍 Software Marketplace – Research 6,000+ verified tools with transparent pricing and independent reviews. Rankings prioritize buyer outcomes, not vendor spend. 🤝 Tekpon Connect – Vetted 1:1 introductions to SaaS and AI operators who've solved the problems you're facing. 📰 TNW Media – Independent tech journalism reaching 2M monthly readers. Editorial operations remain firewall-separated from our marketplace business. 🎤 TNW Conference – Reimagined as invitation-focused gatherings for founders, investors, and ecosystem builders in Amsterdam and London. Our Mission: Be the most trusted partner for software buying decisions, combining human expertise, data transparency, and vendor neutrality to help businesses optimize their entire software stack.

AI-powered cybersecurity in 2026 is being defined in real time, not designed upfront. I recently contributed to this expert roundup by Tekpon on how AI is reshaping cybersecurity. After reading the full set of perspectives, one thing stands out: There is broad agreement on capability… Here are the most relevant signals from the experts, distilled into key learnings: • Speed is solved. Decision quality is not AI reduces time to detect, but not time to decide. • Offense is scaling asymmetrically Attackers are operationalizing AI faster, with fewer constraints. • Your data is now part of your attack surface Training data integrity directly impacts security outcomes. • Unbounded automation creates second-order risk Response systems need constraints, not just intelligence. • Explainability is now operational, not academic If you cannot justify an AI-driven action, you cannot deploy it at scale. • AI systems introduce new trust boundaries Models, APIs, and pipelines need the same scrutiny as production systems. • Security teams need to evolve structurally AppSec without AI literacy will not scale in this environment. • Regulation is reactive by design Do not wait for compliance frameworks to define your controls. • Adversarial AI is already here Evasion and manipulation techniques are being actively used. • AI amplifies existing strengths and weaknesses It will not fix a broken security program. It will expose it faster. My contribution focused on this shift: We need to stop thinking about AI as a security tool… and start treating it as part of the system we are securing. That means: → Modeling AI components in threat models → Applying security controls to data pipelines → Designing decision systems, not alert systems Bottom line: AI is not changing the goal of security. It is compressing the time you have to get it right. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dWZH_3Th Thank you Tekpon & Cristian Dina for the opportunity to share with the community.

"The AI decided" isn't an audit answer. I was asked by Tekpon to weigh in on how AI is reshaping cybersecurity and compliance in 2026, alongside CTOs and security leaders from Kintsugi, DevriX, Nextgen Software, Ventivo Group and others. My take, from building CallCrewAI: The compliance question for AI agents isn't "is our cloud secure?" anymore. It's "can we prove what an autonomous system said to a customer at 11pm on a Tuesday, and that the customer consented to talking to an AI?" Three things I think most teams underestimate: 1. Determinism is a compliance feature, not just an engineering one. Every agent action has to map to a structured tool call with logged inputs, outputs and a decision trace. Probabilistic-by-default doesn't survive an audit. 2. AI is now both the threat and the defence. We're already seeing voice cloning attacks against trades businesses, with fraudsters impersonating customers to redirect invoices. The same speech models powering our agent are what we use to detect synthetic audio inbound. The line between "AI vendor" and "security vendor" is collapsing. 3. Done right, AI raises the compliance floor for industries that never had one. An SMB electrician's after-hours calls used to vanish into thin air. Now every interaction is logged, transcribed, and searchable by default. The winners won't be the ones bolting AI onto existing GRC tools. They'll be the ones treating every autonomous action as an auditable event from day one. Thanks for the feature Cristian Dina Full piece with perspectives from the other contributors here: https://lnkd.in/dV27FbMx
We asked 8 cybersecurity and compliance experts one question: what is AI actually changing in 2026? Not the marketing answer. The real one. Attackers aren't waiting for defenders to catch up. 80% of SOC alerts are false positives. 40% never get touched. The fastest recorded breakout time in 2025 was 27 seconds. Annual audits were built for a world that no longer exists. Meet our experts: Mario Peshev, Chief Executive Officer DevriX Emmanuel Karibiye, Co-Founder & CTO CallCrewAI Vlad Gladin, CTO @ Nextgen Software Codrut A., Director of Product Security Vlad Melnic, Head of Content Certifier Ruxandra Ion, Chief Executive Officer & Founder Ventivo Group Jeff Gibson, Co-Founder & CTO Kintsugi Radu Onutu, Security Operations Engineer Full Expert Voices article in the comments 👇

I was recently asked by Tekpon to share my thoughts on how AI is transforming compliance automation. Here's my take. Most compliance officers aren't drowning in complex judgments. They're drowning in spreadsheets, data gathering, and chasing teams for information. AI solves that, and when it does, the conversation shifts from "here's what the data says" to "here's what it means and what we should do about it." From continuous monitoring replacing outdated review cycles, to horizon scanning that actually keeps pace with regulatory change, the opportunities are real. So are the limits, AI won't replace the judgment that principles-based regulation demands, and the FCA expect humans to remain accountable for the calls they make. I cover all of this and more in the article below, would love to hear how others in the industry are thinking about it. https://lnkd.in/eUaTYC2A

I had the chance to contribute to Tekpon’s latest article on AI in compliance. It’s becoming part of the day-to-day, but how it’s used makes all the difference. If you're using AI in your daily compliance efforts (who isn't at this point?!), drop a comment on where it's making a real difference for you and your teams. https://lnkd.in/gRTGSTVe

Marketing automation in B2B SaaS is no longer just a campaign tool. It's a full customer lifecycle growth engine. I shared this perspective as part of Tekpon’s expert roundup on AI-powered marketing in 2026. The competitive edge right now belongs to those who recognize automation isn't just about efficiency. It's about intelligent, scalable growth ⤴︎ 🔗Link: https://lnkd.in/em8-Hi5k #MarketingAutomation #B2B #SaaS #AI
