The changes start from the moment you create an email campaign. Choose what you're sending (a marketing, transactional or survey email) and get straight into writing it. Next, pick a template or use your own design, add your content and personalisation, select your target list, and set a time to send. Done. Your campaign is ready to go. 🚀 A few more things you can do: 🎯 Reach the right audience Build target lists based on your criteria, using your contacts, leads and accounts. 📩 Make opt-outs simple Add an unsubscribe link in one click. Anyone who opts out is automatically excluded from future marketing emails, protecting your sender reputation. ✨ Bring your own HTML Switch to the HTML editor and paste in your code to keep the design as intended, whether it’s built in-house or externally. 📊 See what’s happening Track views, click-throughs, opt-outs and bounces. 👀 Keep your team in the loop Every campaign email shows on the recipient's record, so your team can see what each person has been sent and what emails they viewed. SuiteCRM is a mature, open-source CRM that organisations rely on for years. It's flexible, yours to own, and many happily self-host it. 🕒 Over time, though, a self-hosted instance can start to need a bit of support. Keeping it upgraded, tuned, and performing well takes time and technical know-how, and that's not always easy to find in-house. Sultana Legal, a law firm in Malta, reached that point. They knew SuiteCRM well and wanted to keep it, they just wanted it working at its best again. So we worked through it together. Many SuiteCRM instances get configured once, in the first few weeks, and never touched again. That's fine at the start, but processes rarely stay the same for long. We've just released SuiteCRM 8.10.1 🚀 🔧 This maintenance release fixes three regressions introduced in 8.10, including a critical Studio bug that can cause core fields to appear missing or blank, and two PDF-related fixes affecting currency symbols and file naming. SuiteCRM 8.10 is now available 🚀 This release focuses on the areas our community has been asking for. Whether you're a long-time user or evaluating SuiteCRM for the first time, there's a lot to explore. Here's what's new: 📨 Improved email composer - Draft management, document attachments, and a new Variable Injector that pulls customer details, deal values, or company names straight from the record. For Quotes, Invoices, and Contracts, a new Email PDF option opens a pre-composed email with the PDF already attached and content pre-filled from the record. 🖼️ Image fields - Add product photos, client logos, or profile pictures directly to any module through Studio, no custom development required. Useful for teams who rely on visual context when working through records. 📃 Documents, Notes, and Files – Documents and Notes modules are now in the SuiteCRM 8 UI for a consistent experience across the platform. File attachments use the new File field type with malware scanning support, and file fields can be added to any module via Studio. ⚙️ Async background processing - Large operations are now handled by a background worker, so SuiteCRM keeps running while the work gets done. This is foundational infrastructure that will underpin how we handle data-heavy operations going forward.
