MiniMax H3 has topped Image-to-Video arena leaderboards since its release, and it’s also very cost-efficient and affordable to run. To show what it can do, we dropped MiniMax H3 into the video generation node in a Pencil Workflow. Then we built an entire fake brand, complete with distinctive worldbuilding and an eye-catching visual identity. The result screams AAA agency quality. Pencil is an open garden. Frontier labs around the world, like MiniMax, are working day and night to build the latest and greatest models. We work to integrate them as swiftly as possible, so you can plug them into your Pencil Workflows soon after they ship. Your Workflows get better every week without you needing to lift a finger. Looking back on a fantastic evening with the open-source AI community in London. 🇬🇧 Alan Shen, MiniMax's GM EMEA and MD Global, joined Together AI and Deel to explore what it takes to run AI in production, from model selection and routing to cost, reliability, and performance at scale. Thank you to our partners, speakers, and everyone who joined the conversation and brought such incredible energy to the room. We’re excited to keep advancing production-ready AI with the global community. #MiniMax #OpenSourceAI #AIInfrastructure #GenerativeAI
This week in London, we got into the real economics of running AI in production: cost, model selection, routing, reliability, and what it actually takes to make open models work at scale. Thanks to Abhijit Mehta (Deel), Alan Shen (MiniMax), and Max Ryabinin and Sarung Tripathi from Together AI for the perspectives, and to everyone who joined us to discuss what it takes to hit production-grade reliability without giving up performance. Until next time.

Great to see MiniMax available through n8n Gateway alongside other leading AI model providers. 🎉 This makes it easier for builders to explore MiniMax and bring our models into their automated workflows without setting up separate provider credentials or billing. Excited to see what the n8n community builds!
You may already have a small Gateway credits balance sitting in your n8n Cloud account 🥂 Gateway credits let you try supported AI models and tool services directly in your workflows, without first stopping to create another provider account, generate an API key, or set up separate billing. That gives you more freedom while you’re building. Try a model, add a service, follow an idea and see what works for your workflow. We added some credits last week to eligible Cloud accounts (Starter and Pro) to get you started, and you can top up your balance when you want to keep going. As of n8n v2.36, use Gateway credits to explore: AI model providers ➡️ Qwen, Anthropic, Google Gemini, MiniMax, Kimi (Moonshot AI), OpenAI Tool services ➡️ Brave Search: Get real-time results from an independent 40B-page index. No Google scraping, no dependencies. ➡️ Browserbase: Browserbase lets n8n workflows click through websites, complete tasks, and return results. ➡️ Firecrawl: Extract LLM‑ready markdown & structured data from any site with a single API call. ➡️ LlamaParse (LlamaIndex): Parse complex documents into AI-ready context and extract accurate, structured data. ➡️ PDF.co: Generate, convert, and extract PDFs. HTML to PDF, PDF to structured data, merge, split, and fill. On a supported node, choose Gateway credits instead of adding your own credential. Rates align to publicly listed provider pricing wherever possible, and you can see current rates and manage your balance in the Cloud Admin Panel. We’ll keep adding more models and services over time. Self-hosted is part of the bigger vision too, though extending this beyond n8n Cloud requires more infrastructure work on our end. Keep bringing your own credentials where they work for you. Gateway credits simply make it easier to explore something new and skip the upfront setup. 🔗 Read more in the post: https://lnkd.in/eUi3RXeQ

Congrats to Genspark on launching Gen-1 Slides, a specialized model for real-world presentation creation, built on our open-weight frontier model, MiniMax M3, and post-trained with Fireworks AI. M3’s open weights, native long-context capabilities, and agentic tool calling provided a strong foundation, while Genspark brought deep product expertise and task-specific training to the slide-generation loop, turning that foundation into a purpose-built model in a matter of weeks. This is what open foundations make possible: a faster path from frontier intelligence to specialized products built for real-world work. We’re proud to see MiniMax M3 at the foundation of Gen-1 Slides, and excited to see what Genspark and other teams build with MiniMax models next.
We built our own AI model: https://lnkd.in/gJQQzPZJ For two years, Genspark has orchestrated the world's best models for every task. Today we're adding a second capability: training our own. Meet Gen-1 Slides - the first in a family of post-trained models built for the knowledge worker. Why slides? Because we run 120,000 decks a day at peak. We see exactly where frontier models fall short on real work: broken layouts, fabricated citations, decks that read as 'AI slop.' That's not a general-capability problem. It's a task problem - so we trained for the task. Post-trained from the open-weight MiniMax M3 with Fireworks AI, inside the same production harness our users run on: - #1 in 8 of 9 evaluations, never out of the top two (avg rank 1.11 vs 2.44 for Kimi K3, 2.56 for Claude Opus 5) - Matches Opus 5 on deck quality at roughly 1/17 the input-token price - $0.44 per finished deck vs $4.16 - about 9.5x cheaper, measured on decks you can actually ship So today, Opus-tier deck quality becomes the default in Genspark AI Slides Standard mode. No price change. Not a premium tier - the floor. The budget that used to serve one user at frontier quality now serves roughly ten. And we published the numbers that flatter us least. The base model is disclosed. The limitations are in the post. Transparency is part of the product, and we'd rather say hard things ourselves before someone else does. Gen-1 is a family, not a one-off: spreadsheets, documents, and research are already in training. Your next deck is already being made on it. Try it: https://lnkd.in/g3yWjWK3 What would you do with Opus-tier slides at 1/17 the price?

MiniMax is now part of the Nebius AI Builder Program 🤝 Builders can tap MiniMax alongside models, infrastructure, and tooling from NVIDIA, LangChain, Hugging Face, Cognition, Prime Intellect, and more, with credits and support including office hours. A serious toolkit for anyone building the next wave of AI products.
The Nebius AI Builder Program is now available. We've had this in preview over the summer, and one thing kept coming up: the open ecosystem has the pieces, but putting them together is still harder than it should be. Which model? Where do you run inference? Which tools actually work? Sometimes figuring out the stack takes longer than building on it. That’s why we built the AI Builder Program: a jump-off point for building on the open ecosystem, with the people and the tools in one place. It’s free, with: - $400+ in credits and discounts from Nebius, LangChain, Toloka, Tavily, and more - Working code and cookbooks - Nebius Academy certifications - Office hours with engineers to debug, tune, and get unblocked - Meetups, hackathons, and a Discord community with other builders We're partnering with some of the best in the AI ecosystem: NVIDIA AI, LangChain, Hugging Face, Cognition, OpenHands, Tavily, Toloka, Composio, Prime Intellect, MiniMax, Qwen, and more to come. Whether you’re already building AI systems or just starting to figure out the stack, you should try it out. https://lnkd.in/ga-5yvwR
