Boston Children’s Hospital trusted us to assess the security of one of its healthcare research applications. And the timing could not be more relevant. In its proposed update to the HIPAA Security Rule, HHS would require healthcare organizations and business associates to perform: • Vulnerability scanning at least every 6 months • Penetration testing at least once every 12 months The proposal is not final yet, but the direction is clear: healthcare organizations are being pushed toward more concrete, recurring technical security validation. At Hackerest, we help healthcare teams validate the security of applications, APIs, cloud environments, and sensitive data workflows in a way that supports both real risk reduction and compliance efforts.

One of the things I enjoy most about working at Hackerest is being able to focus on responsible disclosures, helping new and potential customers identify risks they are not aware of and showing them how to remediate while raising their security bar.
