    GrandNode 2.4.0 is out, and it's the biggest release since 2.0. Three things we'd point out if you're choosing an e-commerce platform for yourself or a client: One install, many shops. The new Store manager panel gives each store owner their own admin, without access to anything else. Agencies and companies with several brands can run them all on one deployment. Fewer outside dependencies. The admin panel no longer uses Kendo UI, it's built on our own components and the MIT-licensed Tabulator. The platform is GPL-3.0 and stays free, with no license fees per store or per order. Built to pass a security review. Modern password hashing, stricter HTML sanitization, a round of access-control fixes in the store and vendor panels, and a signed Docker image with a software bill of materials. Also new: a storefront rebuilt on Vue 3 with dark mode, two new themes, and product data that search engines and AI assistants can read (availability, ratings, shipping and return policy).
