In just 14 months, traditional search’s share of B2B buyer journeys fell from 68% to 41%, as AI assistants took 31% of it (AuthorityTech, 2026). Getting your content right for people and for AI is now the same job. That’s exactly what ContentCon is tackling this year, and Kevin Monson and Tyler Vonder Heide will be in Chicago on October 27–28 to join the conversation. If you’re heading to ContentCon and want to talk about whether AI can actually see your content, connect with Kevin and Tyler for a coffee and a chat.

One week until The LavaCon Content Strategy Conference. Codal and Sanity are heading to Charlotte, and you'll find us at Booth 20 from October 26–28. Stop by and talk to Ryan Bloms, Aaron Lindsey and Mac Hoggan about how we helped a national pet retailer migrate 100K+ pages in 3 months and cut costs by over 50%. Don't miss Roshan Soni, our VP of Engineering, on stage Monday at 11:15 AM: "Past the pilot: Why your content model decides whether AI scales." Want time with the team? 83% of enterprises are actively rationalising their tech infrastructure but only 35% say their approach is working well. That gap is where a lot of AEM users find themselves: they know something needs to change, but they're less sure of the direction, or what standing still is really costing them. In his latest article, Joe Comins looks at the costs that sit outside the AEM licence fee (specialist skills, ticket queues, slow delivery cycles) and why the same root cause is now making enterprise content hard for AI systems to read. The National Ski Areas Association Mountain Technology Symposium starts today in Hood River, and the Codal team is here all week. Later this week, Roshan Soni and Ryan Bloms from Codal sit down with Jeremy Riss, COO of Mt. Hood Meadows Resort, to share the story behind the resort's new digital guest experience. They will be looking at going mobile-first with headless commerce built on RTP, how buying tickets, rentals, and waivers got easier for guests, and how the team now keeps the site fresh as the seasons change. Not able to make the session? Come find us at the Codal table any time during the event. https://bit.ly/4y94qHL

Great to be in the room at yesterday's Silicon Yorkshire lunch. For Codal, events like this matter. We're growing our presence across the UK, and Yorkshire and the North are a big part of that. Being part of the local tech community, rather than just working alongside it, is exactly where we want to be. Thanks to the Silicon Yorkshire team for bringing everyone together, and to everyone we chatted with over lunch. If we didn't get a chance to connect, do drop one of us a message. Always happy to talk about what's next for digital in the region. Joe Comins Matthew Deacon

Codal is growing, and we’re getting a new headquarters to match. In April 2027, we’ll open our new Chicago Loop office: a full-floor, 24,000-square-foot space overlooking the Chicago River. The move is driven by growing demand for Orchestra AI, our AI and agentic engineering services. The new office will house a dedicated Center of Excellence to help us meet that demand and keep delivering for the organizations we partner with. This is our biggest Chicago milestone since 2021, when we moved into a 16,000-square-foot space in the Old Post Office. Since then, we've kept growing, and we're not slowing down. We’re hiring more team members, including project managers, product managers, solutions architects, and engineers. Want to help build what's next? Explore open roles at https://codal.jobs/

Mt. Hood Meadows serves guests who plan and buy almost entirely on their phones, often in the same week they ski. Pricing changes with demand, the season changes the story, and checkout has to work for tickets, rentals, and waivers all at once. Next week at the National Ski Areas Association Mountain Technology Symposium in Hood River, Jeremy Riss, COO of Mt. Hood Meadows Resort, joins Roshan Soni and Ryan Bloms from Codal for a fireside chat on how the resort rebuilt its digital guest journey around those realities. They'll talk through the move to mobile-first, headless commerce connected to RTP, what changed for guests at checkout, and what changed for the team running the site season to season. Attending? Come and talk to the Codal team at our table throughout the event. https://bit.ly/4z6qmEv
